Kofi Olomide in trouble again

‘Selfie’ Hitmaker Koffi Olomide is in trouble again. The Congolese Musician risks a 7-year jail term over sexual assault charges. French prosecutors are seeking the jail term to sentence Koffi Olomide after four former dancers alleged they were held against their will at a villa outside Paris. The acts of assault include kidnapping and coercion that was allegedly committed in French Capital, Paris between 2002-2006.

The musician however denied the charges levelled against him.

In 2016, Olomide was arrested and deported from Kenya after being caught on camera kicking one of his dancers at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. More trouble awaited Olomide upon his arrival in Kinshasa where he was apprehended by the police and locked up for two days over the incident. However, he is currently out on bail
