PS sacked in mini cabinet reshuffle

President Uhuru Kenyatta has today made changes to his cabinet in a renewed effort to achieve the big 4 agenda. Sports CS Rashid Echesa is among the cabinet secretaries who have been kicked out of office.

Through executive order no 3 tagged ‘Reorganisation of Government of Kenya’, the President has kicked out CS Rashid Echesa from the cabinet. Following the vacation of the office the president has appointed CS Amina Mohamed in the docket of sports. Former KNEC chairman George Magoha has been to take over as Education CS.

In the re-assignments of the ministries by the president, Susan Mochache will be the new permanent secretary in ministry of health taking over from the sacked Fatuma Hirsi, Environment PS Ali Noor Ismail has been transferred to the cooperatives docket while his Labor counterpart Dr Ibrahim Mohamed is transferred to the state department of environment & forestry.

Health PS Peter Kiplagat will oversee the Labour docket while Wildlife PS Dr Margaret Mwakima, moves to the State Department of East African Community Affairs (EAC).

As per the changes, EAC and northern corridor PS Dr Susan Koech was reassigned to the Wildlife department.
