It Is Swahili Derby as Harambee Stars Play Tanzania Tonight In Group C Encounter

Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has rallied the national football team Harambee stars to give it their all when they take on Tanzania in their second group c encounter set to be played at the 30 June stadium tonight from 11 pm.

Tanzania were humbled by Senegal 2-0 in their group opener as Kenya lost to Algeria in a similar scoreline. Both teams will be keen to record maximum points keen to secure a round of 16 spot.

The build-up to this match has seen Kenyans and Tanzanians take it to social media on the hashtag #KENTAN with each of the divides claiming they will represent East  Africa better.

A video of Regional Commissioner of Dar Es Salaam Paul Makonda is making rounds online with the commissioner saying they might have been beaten by Senegal but they will redeem themselves with Kenya.
