Kuria questioned over alleged calls to assassinate Raila

The outspoken Gatundu South Mp, Moses Kuria, was on Sunday caption in a video clip that was termed as inciting as he called for the” assassination ” of Former Prime Minister, Raila.

Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, responding to calls for probe of Kuria has said that they have videos and they would study them before summoning him.

Kuria is expected to be summoned together with Ferdinard Waititu who is also alleged to have called for circumcision of the Luos on Sunday.

“It is wrong and that is why we have launched the probe to get to the bottom of it. We have the video which we are reviewing for action,” said Boinnet.

In the video, Kuria is heard asking the government to “assassinate” Cord leader Raila Odinga because he is a “threat to the nation”.

Waititu allegedly called for circumcision of Luos in Nairobi.Kuria made the remarks on Sunday at the thanksgiving rally of a vernacular station radio presenter held at the Safaricom indoor stadium, Kasarani.

Words by Kuria and Kabete MP Ferdinard Waititu have been termed as “poison to the public” and a threat to the nation.

Their actions comes few minutes after Bahati MP, Kimani Ngunjiri is reportedly to have called upon youths to force a given community out of Nakuru “immediately”.

Moses Kuria is also facing another charge in court allegedly having bought pangas and called upon youths old youths in his constituency to attack, with pangas, people opposed to National Youth Service projects and for alleged hate speech on social media.
