Starehe MP Charles Njagua has been released on KSh500,000 cash bail. He was charged with incitement to violence over hate remarks targeting foreign traders.
Njagua was arrested on 26thJune. The MP allegedly made the remarks on 24th June.
Nairobi magistrate Sinkiyan Tobiko last Friday allowed police to detain Njagua for three days to enable them complete investigations.
She directed police to detain him at Kileleshwa Police Station.
