Beyoncé Knowles Carter aka Beyoncé just released her new album titled ‘THE LION KING: THE GIFT’.
The album features new solo songs titled ‘Bigger’, ‘Find your way back’, ‘Otherside’ and ‘Spirit,’ alongside collaborations with Kendrick Lamar titled ‘Nile’, one with Pharrel Williams and Salatiel titled ‘Water’ and with Childish Gambino and her husband ‘Jay Z titled ‘Mood 4 eva’. Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter is also featured on the album.
Numerous African artists are also featured on the album. Beyoncé collaborates with Nigerian artists Tekno, Mr Eazi and Yemi Alade in a song titled ‘Don’t jealous me’; Burna boy in ‘Ja ara e’; Wizkid, Saint Jhn and her daughter in ‘Brown skin girl’; and with Tiwa Savage and and Mr Eazi in ‘Keys to the kingdom’. Ghana’s Shatta Wale is also featured in a song titled ‘Already’ together with Major Lazor, while South Africa’s Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly are featured in a song titled ‘My power’ alongside North American artist Tierra Whack.
Female North American artists 070 Shake and Jessie Reyez are also featured in a song titled ‘Scar’.
