Interior CS Matiang’ i has ordered the closure of all bars for two days starting 24th Saturday at 5 pM for the census. Fred Matiang’i has directed the police to implement this directive.
This will be the 8th census to be conducted in Kenya, and will for the first time include data on Intersex Persons.
The 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census will take place on the night of the 24th August 2019,
