Launched by LELO, a Swedish intimacy company dubbed “the Apple of the pleasure product industry,” HEX condoms represent one of the first major advances in condom technology since the reservoir tip was added almost 70 years ago.
The intimate products designer, Lelo, has begun to startup the HEX condom which is attempting to change the world of condoms and sex practices forever.
Different brands of condom have highly been in use with these products aiming to help curb STI spread and also used as contraceptives but they have never been “perfect”.
Different people have ever complained of breakages that occur during the act, and sometimes condom slip offs something that compromises parties involved with possibility of unwanted pregnancies or STI or HIV infection if any of the party had the virus.
But is hoping to change all this with their revolutionary condom design.
“HEX is structurally different because it applies a unique hexagonal web throughout the latex, which means it looks and performs differently to any condom in the world today,” HEX website published the design.
Hexagonal web is meant to aid keeping the condom from completely being compromised if a small tear will occur while in use. It is also expected to remain thin, remain more durable and strong than the run of mill Trojan.
“The challenge was to make something radically different with a material already approved for condom use,” Filip Sedec, LELO founder and inventor of LELO HEX. “We did this because people need to be having great, safe sex today, not ten years from now.”
Already many people have begun welcoming the new face in condom reshaping terming Lelo move as wonderful decision.
“There is a huge need for innovations in condoms. LELO’s new condom is a welcome and much needed addition to our efforts to prevent unintended pregnancy and the spread of infectious diseases. Users will love it,” said Jeffrey D. Klausner said Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Program in Global Health
