National women volleyball team head coach Paul Bitok has called it quits. The coach announced he was stepping down soon after the national team arrived in the country from japan where they participated in the FIVB World.
Bitok was appointed on a temporary basis and was working landside Japheth Munala and Josp Baraza.
The coach said on a statement, and I quote
“As we move forward, pending discussions with the federation on my role in future, I would like to extend my collaboration in a number of ways beyond coaching. Going into the future, as I shift vision for the team, it is my goal to venture into a more advisory role specifically sports management and consultancy.’’
Kenya jetted back into the country on Tuesday after finish 11 out of 12 in the just ended volleyball world in Japan.
