The fight against female genital mutilation has intensified in Narok County following a meeting between the Narok County Commissioner Samuel Ole Kimiti, the Narok First Lady Sarah Tunai and the youths in the county.
The three-day training program at the Narok County Academy sensitized the youths on matters FGM, early marriages, child labour and drug abuse.
This comes amid President Uhuru Kenyatta’s declaration to end FGM by 2022, with Narok County being on the spot, for leading in the cases of FGM by 40%
