NYS SERVICEMAN DETAINED IN HOSPITAL

A youthful  National Youth Service plant operator has been detained by a Kisii town based health facility  for inability to settle a medical bill following a tragic road accident he was involved in.

Twenty two year old Kiyieka Manoah  who was riding a motor cycle   along Kiamokama-Gesusu road  collided with another at Gekomoni, sustaining   serious facial and limb injuries before he became unconscious.

A good Samaritan rushed  him to  Med-forte hospital in a critical condition where he was admitted.

He was hospitalized under the Intensive Care Unit accumulating a medical bill of  close to sh.1 million.

Kiyieka had been released to go home from  Eldoret NYS Holding Unit where he was deployed when Covid-19 pandemic struck.

Maosa Manoah Oyaro, the father, lamented over unsuccessful  efforts by the family to raise funds towards payment of the  medical bill adding  whenever fund-drives  were held, the little money realized  did not suffice.

He appealed for assistance from the government and  well wishers to defray the hospital expenses so that his son could resume his training.

Any help can be sent to Maosa Manoah Oyaro’s MPESA  account. His telephone number is 0769954670.
