Two out of four fishermen who were fishing in Masinga dam on Monday 3rd May, drowned after their boat capsized.
Benson Muasya,a survivor said their boat was overturned by very strong winds on Monday evening where two of their colleagues drowned.
Benson together with one other fisherman held on the capsized boat for over three hours as the wind kept blowing them towards the shores of the dam.
At around 8 pm, the dam calmed and were thrown to the shores of the dam where a good samaritan rescued them.
The other two drowned as they were unable to make it to swim due to the strong winds.
However, the two bodies have floated five days after the accident, according to area Chief, Zipporah Mutiso.
