Six other people including occupants of the house and passengers sustained injuries and were rushed and admitted at Keroka sub county hospital.
Neighbours, Brenda Okero and Azenath Nyaboke, narrated how they heard a commotion only to find that a vehicle had rammed into the house.
The house’s occupants were crying for help before police arrived ,rescued and ferried them to hospital.
Masaba North police commander Robert Nambiri confirmed the incident and said the ill-fated Nisan ‘Matatu’ donned red ribbons to fake that it was in a funeral procession.
According to the commander, the Kilgoris Sacco vehicle headed to Keroka from Sotik when the accident occurred.
He urged passengers to report reckless PSV drivers for action to avert more deaths on roads.
Ndambiri warned drivers caught by the curfew hours against speeding and instead to park and wait for the official time to continue with their operations.
