A middle-aged man has been found murdered this morning in the outskirts of Migori town. The man who was in his mid-40s was found dead outside his rented house with a deep cut in his forehead.
The deceased who lived alone was working in one of the car wash in Migori town according to the neighbors. The deceased was found a few meters outside his house with his door open.
Neighbors of the deceased highlighted that they did not hear any commotions. The residents highlighted that the 7 pm curfew has made residents head home early and anything that happens between curfew times cannot be well established.
The motive of the murder was not clearly established although the neighbors suspects that it may be related to love affair gone bad.
According to Mr. Bernard Okinyi the General Secretary of Migori Youth Welfare Motor Group the 7 pm to curfew has increased insecurity. He urged the police to be more vigilant and patrol often to ensure that nobody is found outside during the curfew time.
