ANC Party Leader at KAWANGWARE PAG CHURCH AND ACK RIRUTA.

ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has dismissed the approaches being fronted by his competitors in the resuscitation of the economy debate saying Kenyans do not need theoretical models but tangible solutions that will be felt in trying to bring back the economy of this country to its feet. Speaking when he attended two Sunday Church Services in Nairobi, the ANC Leader has called on Kenyans to interrogate all the leaders who have fronted themselves for the Country’s top seat before making a formidable decision come August next year. He has defended his approach on the revival of the economy by stating that the real issues to be tackled first are the public debt, taxes and revenue collection.

The ANC Leader says his approach is aimed as giving solutions that will be practical rather than rhetorical conversation of model that look academic on paper but far much away from the reality.
On public debt the one time Finance Minister says rescheduling of some of our debts and negotiating with our foreign donors for restructuring of some of the debts will be key. He has pointed out the need to assess the loans that are operational and determine the best way to handle each component. Mudavadi also says there will be need to assess the progress of the infrastructural projects currently ongoing and see which ones are viable to proceed to completion and which ones need a break for some money to be injected in sectors of production to boost the country’s Growth Domestic Product.

Mudavadi while acknowledging the fact that his competitors have now woken up and realised that the next general elections will be won on policy matters and not the normal political euphoria, he has maintained that when he introduced the debate on the economy, he had done thorough research and the findings were that the common mwananchi is suffering. He has lined up a tax relief mechanism to enable businesses to thrive and cushion Kenyans from the high cost of living. This he says will be an anchor towards creating more space for businesses to thrive and also to attract more investors who will eventually pump in more resources that will boost our economy.

The ANC Leader who was the first one to raise the red flag on matters economy has equally critised his opponents who have hijacked the idea and already are politicizing the debate instead of rallying towards getting solutions. He was accompanied by Sen Moses Wetangula, Sen Johnson Sakaja, Hon Cris Wamalwa and Hon Ayub Savula.
The leaders were speaking at ACK Emmanuel Church and Pentecostal Asssemblies of God Church in Riruta and Kawangware respectively. They have vowed to continue rallying behind ANC Musalia Mudavadi, presenting him to Kenyans as the best alternative to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
