Barely a few months after funny posts began circulating in social medial, especially in Facebook, something else believed to be another type of virus has found its way to the same social media platform.

All began when individuals began sharing pitiful pictures of either “burned people who need prayers,” poor and hungry people or kids in “need of food” and even pictures captioned “if you don’t’ comment or like you will be cursed in the whole of your life.”

The Facebook Chief Executive officer Mark Zuckerberg addressing the above in 2015 said that scammers were taking advantage of merciful people who upon commenting, Liking or sharing the post their details were stolen and used in malicious activities.

The same activities now appear to have resurfaced with another strategy. The scammers and poofters are finding access to individuals account details using dirty means and when one falls a victim, they hack the account and use it to post sexual content in your wall or other walls without your consent and funny enough, you are not able to see the post unless your friend comments on it.

Whenever one sees “your” post and clicks to read the content, the post will redirect him/her either to a cloud account or another malicious site and if that fails, you are linked to pornographic account whereby  you are required to log in with your account so that you can read the content, not knowing your details are being stolen.

The only way out of this is to distance yourself from any picture with a link, either showing a mutilated body or sexual content.

In his earlier post in 2015, Zuckerberg had warned people not to comment on, like or share any content on Facebook begin with words “if you don’t comment you be cursed”, “if you are merciless pass and God is watching you”, he she needs you prayers” etc for the posts were malicious just like what is being suspected is happening right now.
