Peter Kenneth wife’s car recovered in Busia

Police have confirmed recovery of car belonging to Peter Kenneth’s wife. The Freelancer Land Rover – not pictured – was headed to Uganda according to Police reports.

The suspect was arrested following a tip by a man who saw the suspect changing the number plate for the car.

The suspect and the car were later brought to Nairobi.

Ms. Kenneth is said to have been driving into their estate along Kibare Road in spring Valley,- Kyuna , when a gang of two armed with pistol struck.

The police also added that the guards to their estate had been held hostage prior to the hostage and the gang took over and posed like the security guards on duty and ushered in a number of vehicles before Ms Kenneth arrived.

As they opened the barrier, two of the gunmen ordered her to open the car at gunpoint before they jumped in.

According to police, the gang took control of the car and drove off towards Waiyaki Way with Ms Kenneth on board.

On reaching Kinoo, they ordered her to switch off her mobile phone for their own security. Police said they drove up to Ndumbuini, in King’eero where they branched into a nearby forest and abandoned her there.
