The Government of Kenya is reinforcing its commitment to global health security, nutrition, and capacity building through strategic collaborations with international partners.

Today, Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, engaged in high-level discussions with French Ambassador H.E. Arnaud Suquet and Dr. Serawit Bruck-Landais, Chairperson of the Development Partners for Health in Kenya (DPHK).

According the ministry, the meeting focused on Kenya’s active participation in the ongoing Pandemic Treaty negotiations, pandemic preparedness strategies, and its role in the upcoming 2025 Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris.

Kenya will use the global platform to showcase impactful nutrition initiatives, including school feeding programs and food security efforts, which are key to improving national health outcomes.

As part of these efforts, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the French Embassy, will host a Pre-Summit Round Table at Alliance Française on 25th February 2025, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss sustainable nutrition solutions.
