Government Leaders Unite to Strengthen Service Delivery at Joint Cabinet Committees Meeting

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki chaired a high-level joint meeting of Cabinet Committees at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi City County, with a focus on service delivery and national development.

The session brought together key Cabinet Secretaries, including CS Kipchumba Murkomen, to review progress and realign priorities across major sectors such as governance, public service, infrastructure, land and the economy.

According to Cabinet Secretary for Interior Kipchumba Murkomen the meeting reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving how services reach ordinary Kenyans.

“We focused on service delivery and reaffirmed our commitment to key pillars of national development, including governance, public service, finance, infrastructure, land and economy,” stated Murkomen.

“As Government, we remain committed to building a resilient, accountable and prosperous Kenya for all,” Murkomen added.

The joint committee emphasize the importance of working across ministries and departments to streamline operations, eliminate redundancies and ensure that government services are responsive to the needs of citizens.

“We emphasized stronger inter-agency collaboration, policy alignment and efficient service delivery for inclusive and impactful development,” stated Murkomen.

“Cabinet Committees assist in synchronizing and hastening the discharge of Cabinet business to ensure faster implementation of Government business and service delivery to the people,” stated DP Kindiki.

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to deliver on the Kenya Kwanza administration’s development agenda while building an accountable and resilient public service.

This meeting comes at a time when the public is calling for more effective governance and visible service delivery, and signals the administration’s intent to tighten its coordination efforts across government agencies.
