Felipe Massa sets retirement date

Felipe Massa has announced that he will retire from Formula One at the end of 2016. The Brazilain made his F1 debut in 2002 for Sauber.

 

Massa took his first win in 2006 at the Turkish Grand Prix. He came close to winning the 2008 title but missed out on a single point.

He spent 11 years at Ferrari. He has 11 wins, 41 podiums and 16 pole positions.

Massa joined Williams for the 2014 season and after he finishes his third season with the team, he will hang up his helmet and leave Formula One.
