Retired Kenyan football veteran, Joe Kadenge, is reportedly back in stable condition.
Kadenge collapsed on Wednesday while watching the National Super League (NSL) match between Wazito FC and Zoo Kericho at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo Grounds.
Following the incidence, he was rushed to Nairobi Metropolitan Hospital by an ambulance for further observation after receiving first aid treatment at the venue.
In his career, he played for Maragoli United, and scored the fastest ever goal in the Kenyan Premier League. He also played club football for Abaluhya United, winning the Kenyan Premier League in 1966.
Before collapsing the former footballer is said to have complained of hunger. Kadenge a striker during his glory days has also worked as a football coach and manager.
