Conte disappointment despite three points win

Diego Costa fired home the only goal at Chelsea recorded a 1-0 win at the Riverside.

And despite going close on several occasions, the Blues couldn’t find a way though.

And Conte admits that was the only downer on the day Chelsea went top of the Premier League table.

Conte remarks after the match

Speaking to Sky Sports, the manager said that he was a bit disappointed by the failure to score a second

“Yeah. When we create many chances to get the goal it’s important to score.

“Because you can arrive to the end without a fright.

“This is the sixth game in a row we didn’t concede a goal and this is good news for us.

“We played a good game with a good opposition and created many chances for the second goal.

“In a game like this it’s vital to kill it if you have the possibility to because a corner, a cross, anything can happen.

“But I’m pleased because Middlesbrough proved to be a good team.”
