Two Members of Parliament (MPs) on Monday recorded a police statement accusing each other of assault.
The tow from Laikipia faced each other to test the power of their muscles after differing on matters security.
Matthew Lempurkel (Laikipia North MP), and Sarah Korere (nominated MP) exchanged ‘dignified blows’ outside Harambee House, Nairobi.
This came after meeting Interior Cabinet Secretary, Major Gen. (Rtd.) Joseph Nkaissery, to discuss the rising insecurity in their region.
Their bitter words tickled anger and what was planned to be harmonial turned violent allegedly exchanging blows with each faulting the other over the rising insecurity in the constituency
According to sources, the rivalry between the two escalated a fortnight ago after Korere expressed interest in the post currently held by Lempurkel.
They were both treated and discharged from different hospitals.
She was checked at the Nairobi Women Hospital where officials said she would be examined

The two have in the past been engaged in supremacy wars. Ms Korere was nominated on a Jubilee ticket while Lempurkel was elected on ODM party.
