According to a televised confirmation by NBS television, Kenya Television Networks KTN) journalist, Joy Doreen Biira, was finally released from police custody on bond.
Biira had been arrested following her coverage of the recent clash at Uganda, just a day in Uganda for her traditional marriage ceremony.Biira, who hails from the Western Uganda Kingdom, was in the country for her traditional marriage which was held on Saturday.
The Western Uganda Kingdom born Biira will now be required to present herself at Kasese Police Station on 8th December for hearing of her charges.
The Massacre clash on Sunday claimed lives of 55 people, with the King believed to be linked with the clash arrested early on Monday.

State security forced had clashed with Ruwenzuru Kingdom loyalists, with the government accusing Ruwenzururu King, Charles Wesley Mumbere, of inciting locals to violence after militiamen reportedly attacked a police post in his hometown of Kasese
The king has, however, denied any involvement in the violence.
Joy Doreen Biira is said to have ‘misbehaved’ by posting content about clashes on social media.
