The release of KCPE 2016 results released today on one way have gave parents some hopes for their children with warning given to Private Schools that collude to register two examination centers as one.
This is after the Cabinet Secretary of Education Fred matiang’i announced that there is no single candidate who will not receive his or her results.
Speaking during the release of the resutlts at KICD building, the CS said that only 21 cases of atempted malpractices were reported.
The CS noted that the cases which were reported in places like Wijir County were properlly handled.
Stern Warning to Private Schools
On the other hand, Fred Matiang’i has warned the private schools after it was discovered that they are colluding to fake the schools results.
The CS said that some private schools are colluding to register twoe centers as one entity, by picking the top candidates to field them for registration.
Matiang’i warned that such private schools risk de-registration, adding that on Monday he met Kenya Private Schools Association to discuss on the same matter.
