Reported Manchester United target Andrea Belotti has signed a new contract with Torino, the Serie A side’s president has confirmed.
The 22-year-old centre forward has been in inspired form in front of goal for the Turin side this season, leading to widespread speculation that the Italy international could be targeted for a move to Old Trafford.
However, as reported by Goal Italia, Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that Belotti has committed to his current employers.
The official also confirmed that a €100 million (£84 million) release clause is present in the attacker’s contract, which will surely dissuade all of the star’s suitors.
Belotti has scored 10 Serie A goals in 12 appearances this season and is expected to play an important role for the Italian national side in the future.
United have Zlatan Ibrahimovic leading their line but the Red Devils are believed to be in the transfer market for reinforcements in the final third.
