Her’s was the kind of humiliation that epitomized the brutality of police officers in Kenya and especially on our roads.
She and her mother demanded to be shown the readings of the speed gun even as an officer demanded that she places a KSh 5,000 cash bail for the traffic offence.
But in the process, a police officer was captured on video brutally handling her with Kenyans expressing outrage over the police woman’s behavior.
This, despite a senior CID officer from Kericho having visited the family to record a statement following the ugly incident.
