Chief Administrative Secretary Interior, Patrick Ole Ntutu has directed Narok County Commissioner, Samuel Kimiti to hasten the resolution of the land stalemate within Mara and Naroosora areas in the county.
In a ceremony to swear in Morijo Loita Assistant Chief, Alfred Nkipai, Ntutu urged Narok residents to desist from blocking roads during protests over land conflicts. He said this had severely affected tourism in the Region.
Meanwhile, County Commissioner Kimiti, requested residents to remain calm and stay united as leaders found a way to settle the high number of land conflicts in the Region.
