After being sidelined for 10 weeks after struggling to overcome a hamstring injury, Aaron Ramsey has been included inclusion in tonight’s squad for Arsenal’s EFL Cup clash with Reading at the Emirates, according to the Mirror.
Ramsey sustained the injury against Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season.
Arsene Wenger told Arsenal.com on Monday that Ramsey was still short of fitness to be considered for tonight’s League Cup last16 tie with Reading.
Arsene Wenger siad that he returned to full training and is a surprise inclusion in the squad to face Reading in the EFL Cup against Reading tonight.
The Wales international is likely to be on the bench along with Olivier Giroud who is also on his way back.
It is a major boost for Arsene Wenger to have two major players back even if they are both short of full match fitness.
