BARINGO GOVERMENT URGED TO ENSURE CANDIDATES IN SCHOOLS WHICH WERE AFFECTED BY FLOODS SIT FOR EXAM IN A CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT

With the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) starting next week ,leaders have called upon the government to ensure candidates from schools which were affected by floods sit for examinations in a conducive environment.
More than 15 schools among them ;Salabani High School, Lake Baringo Secondary schools,Ngambo girls , Kiserian High school,Lake Bogoria girls  were affected by floods after the schools were submerged following the swelling of Lake Baringo and Lake Bogoria.
The schools were forced to be relocated and students were forced to study in make shifts and others under trees .
Nancy Chesire said the floods wreaked havoc in schools affecting learning urging the government to ensure the candidates sit for their papers in an environment which is conducive.
Labour CS Simion Chelugui assured the candidates that the government will provide everything the candidates need as they sit for the exam  including boats for those in islands .KCSE exams starts next week.
