Baringo leaders have called upon the county government to revive stalled Kabarnet Stadium to help youth harness their talent. Speaking yesterday in Kabarnet, Baringo Central during a fundraiser to support Baringo Youth FC, the leaders demanded the revival of the the stadium after stalling for years following graft allegations which led to a halt of construction. Baringo Assembly Speaker David Kiplagat promised to appropriate funds to continue the construction of the stadium saying it was paramount in talent development. Assembly Clerk Richard Koech asked action to be taken against those who misappropriated funds intended to construct the stadium. Over 500M was allocated to construct the stadium.
