BARINGO : MOI SAYS HE WILL VIE FOR PRESIDENCY AMID CONFUSION IN ONE KENYA ALLIANCE

Kenya African National Union (KANU) Chairman has said he will vie for presidency come 2022 promising to stage a strong campaign for the top seat. Speaking yesterday during the Thanksgiving ceremony at Ruth Kiptui Girls, Kasok, Baringo North, Moi said it is obvious he will be vying for the seat. Moi who is also Baringo Senator said after he was asked by Baringo North Member of Parliament William Cheptumo to declare his candidature for the presidency amid the ongoing coalitions ahead of 2022 elections. Cheptumo who drummed up support for Deputy President William Ruto said he was fit to lead the country come 2022 adding that there was need for the Rift Valley region to unite as the country gears for the elections.
