Team 23 are the winners of Rhino Charge 2021 which were held in Sabor, Baringo County this is after raising 36 M shillings in the competition. Ultimate Bundu Fundis came second after managing to raise 23 M which will go along way in conserving environment in major water towers.
The competition which involves of use special made off road vehicles to manage to cruise rugged terrains also give opportunity for competitors to raise money for conservation. The more money competitors raise the distance reduced and raises chances of winning.
A total of 140M shillings were raised in the event while 5M will be for the community which hosted the event. Peter Kinyua, team leader of Team 23 got a boost from President Uhuru Kenyatta who pledged to support them with 5M shillings.
