The Eastern Bikers Association on Saturday took a 300Kilometres drive in a move to sensitive locals on the importance of following the COVID-19 protocols, taking vaccinated as a way of protecting oneself, and those around you, and educating masses on effects of climate change. The bikers’ community draws its members from the lower Eastern region.
The ride dubbed, #Makueni Bike Finest, happened at a time when the county will be hosting the 7th devolution conference kicking off August 23-26 in the County. The event which will specifically happen at Makueni Boys has a theme, Multi-level Governance for Climate Action, a theme selected to educate people on impact of climate change on socio- economic development in the country.
