Bitter True Facts about life.

pic 4They say Asiyefuzwa na Mamaye Hufunzwa na Ulimwengu (Who can’t learn from parents will definitely learn through the hard way), especially when it comes to matters of life.  People back in the village have a feeling that, whoever is within town has money and life over there is sweet but that is totally wrong, the truth is that, nobody has an easy ride.

To understand the above statement let us look at a few truths about life.

Life is not fair

Do you think that it will ever be? Hell no, never! Walk around the globe looking for anybody riding his car on the space, I mean wealthy people, and definitely they will tell you, maze pia tuna shinda nyingi huku. Mark you, even the pastors and priests will tell you that in their ministry they face many challenges. The only solution to this challenge is accept and expect this fact, then strategize the way out of it and I bet the sooner you do so, the happier you’ll be.

Good things are worth the wait for they don’t come easily

This is a sickening fact to those who are looking for quickest ways of getting job easily, want to become rich, plan to marry the best man or woman, live in the best apartments and so on… But again good things are happening daily. What you should not do is to expect for manna from heaven to land at your door step. If you disagree with the good things that happen daily, take this challenge. “Take a piece of paper and jot down the good things that are happening to you”. You will get shocked, kumbuka “haba na haba hujaza kibaba.”

In everything you do the first step is always the hardest

Someone will say no, but come with me and think of it privately, meditate. You have a business idea, there is that ‘expensive’ lady you die for, and bla bla bla. Do you just get them pap? There is that drawback to that, maybe money to start the business, where to locate it, just to name a few, that make the first move difficult.

You can never be the driver all the time

Yes, even those who drive ambulances fall sick and are taken to hospital via other cars by another driver. “Mganga hajingangi,” it is the nature of the world.  It’s obvious that there are limits in terms of power when it comes to individual. You cannot roll around like a ball. For example, in office your boss has control over you, in hospital doctor has control over you, this is life, and you just need to live with it.  Although you cannot control everything, do not bow to it for it restrains you from reaching your limits.

Less than 100% will support you

This is true and they say truth is bitter than gastric juice. World is made of different people, serious men and women and cartoon like people. All of them bear different values and personalities. Therefore expect doubters in everything you do. But do not let them disappoint you by becoming a barrier between you and your goals and passions.

Lastly but not the least, death is part of life. And this is definitely a sad truth. You need to accept death is living within us and when it occurs to your loved one, you should not take it as a pun. Therefore you should learn to live with it.

You are the only thing holding yourself back from greatness – Being negative will hold you back. Instead, focus on the positive things and be happy now

Bad things happen to good people – Yes it happens, because it is the nature of life, the good die young too. But the opposite is also true, the good have good things happen to them, and the good can live to ripe old age.
