A five-year-old boy who survived a car crash that killed his entire family on New year’s Day at Magina, Lari constituency, is still admitted at AIC Kijabe Hospital.
Daniel Kamau and his family were traveling from Nakuru to Nairobi when the Toyota Corolla they were in collided head on with a Mistubishi canter.
His father Ng’ang’a Nduati, mother Tabitha, siblings John and Mercy died on impact. His uncle Geoffrey Mungai also perished. “It was an ugly scene. The family had been badly injured. We only managed to remove the boy and the Canter driver,” witness John Wainaina said.
A source at the hospital, who did not want be named, yesterday said Kamau is receiving specialized treatment.
