The officials of Devolution and Empowerment Party (DEP) commonly referred to as the ‘BUS’ have hinted at working with the Wiper party.
While receiving wiper party members to the BUS party in Embu County, the party Chairman Lenny Kivuti said they were in a cordial relationship with Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
He denied claims that the party was poaching wiper members adding that they had voluntary crossed over to support his Gubernatorial bid in Embu County.
Kivuti further appealed to politicians to exercise political tolerance by giving the electorate the freedom of speech and choice.
He noted that some political leaders were spearheading hatred and propaganda against recruitment of members by the BUS party
Kivuti also urge other parties within Mt Kenya East region to join the BUS in order to boost the region negotiating power.
The party which is projecting to register 300,000 members in Embu county has already registered 120,000 members with leaders saying they will also expand the registration to other parts of the country.
They also said that the members will convene to debate, give directions on the coalitions and the presidential candidate to support in the forth coming elections.
