Cabinet nominees vetting; last day for public to submit memoranda

Today marks the last day for the public to submit their memoranda on the suitability of nine cabinet nominees. Parliament is expected to be a beehive of activities as preparations for the exercise gears up.

Clerks of the national assembly will spend better part of their day briefing staff on affidavits received from members of the public and investigatory bodies.

Kenyans had a week to submit the memoranda to speaker of the national assembly.

Only jubilee members will vet the nominees following NASA’s failure to submit names of individuals who will sit on the committee.
