Chinese Businessman in racist video arrested, to be deported

A Chinese man caught on camera insulting Kenyans has been arrested.

Liu Jiaqi was recorded calling President Uhuru Kenyatta and other Kenyans monkeys in a video that circulated around social media. The video followed a string of strong racist remarks that angered many.

He was immediately identified as a business man operating a bicycle company in Ruiru. He has since been taken to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport detaining cells where he is awaiting deportation.
