Coast Leaders Mourn the Death of Mombasa Cement Owner Mr. Hasmukh Patel

The Coast leaders have mourned the death of the Renowned Mombasa businessman and owner of Mombasa Cement Company Hasmukh Patel.

The family of Mr. Hasmukh Patel confirmed his death after a short illness while receiving treatment at a Hospital in Nyali.

The recently appointed Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Hon. Ali Hassan Joho took to his X a message of condolences to the family and friends for the death of Patel the renowned brand, Mombasa Cement.

Hassan Joho said that Mr. Patel was a great man with a big heart and that he dedicated himself to making Mombasa a better place through his philanthropic work and commitment to environmental conservation.

“Many people from underprivileged backgrounds benefitted from his generosity in many areas ranging from healthcare to education assistance,” CS Joho wrote on X.

“Indeed, Mr. Patel’s legacy will continue to inspire generations to come, and his contributions to society will always be remembered with gratitude,” he added.

Mombasa Governor Hon. Abdulswamad Nassir also mourned Patel’s death as he condoled with the family and friends.

Hon. Nassir said that Mr. Patel will be remembered for his active participation in society affairs in Mombasa as well as his generous support for the underprivileged.

“We have learned with sadness of the passing of businessman Hasmukh “Hasuu” Patel of Mombasa Cement Limited in Mombasa,” he wrote on X.

“I take this opportunity on behalf of the County Government of Mombasa to offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the departed. We will stand with you during this difficult time,” he added.

The Governor of Kilifi Hon. Gideon Mung’aro also mourned the passing of Mombasa Cement owner Mr. Patel saying he was a man who cared for his community.

“It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing on of my dear friend and Mombasa Cement company owner, Hasmukh Patel, also known as Asuu Patel. He was a respected family man who always supported and cared for his community,” Hon. Mung’aro said on X.

“My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, friends, and colleagues as they navigate through this difficult time,” he added.

According to the Coast leaders Mr. Hasmukh Patel has left a legacy and will be remembered for his charitable work in the Coastal region.
