The heat of 2017 elections keeps on marshaling up and some of politicians are believed to be on the verge of quitting their current parties and join their efforts with others.
Led by Amani National Congress chief Musalia Mudavadi, some western politicians have asked Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba to leave ODM and team up with the former deputy premier.
Namwamba at risk of being ousted as ODM secretary general.Mudavadi believes that, Namwamba would comfortably fettle in hi party.
Mudavadi also blamed ODM saying that he was happy after exiting that party since there are leaders in the party who have a culture of frustrating their colleagues.
“What you are facing in ODM is what I faced while I was there. Come and join ANC because you will be at home,” Mudavadi said.
“Come home brother and you will feel comfortable in ANC,” he urged.
“Clinging to Raila Odinga’s shirt in the name of Cord will be disappointed at the last minute”.
Mudavadi said already ANC is working on the strategy to unite the region by bringing political leaders together. The leaders also supported the stand of seven MPs from Western Kenya region who accused ODM, of habitually intimidating and profiling the politicians from the region.
