Matungulu MP, Stephen Mule, has called on the Government and the Ministry of Health to prioritize the medical personnel first by giving them the Corona Vaccine as they are the front liners in the fight against the menace. The outspoken legislator said that of the 1.2 million vaccines that arrived, priority should be given to doctors, nurses, medical personnel and then the old age who should be taken from the Ministry of Labour who have the data platform.
Hon Mule gave thanks to CS Mutahi Kagwe and his team for the good work exhibited.
Also present was Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka who praised Dr. Mwanzia for being loyal and corrupt free serving Kenyans relentlessly. Kalonzo said Kenya needed straight forward leaders who had the fear of the Lord saying such leaders are lacking in Kenya. Kalonzo took issue with the recent fights and chaos witnessed in the on going by-elections in Kabuchai, London ward among others, saying some of the leaders involved lacked integrity and the fear of the Lord.
Hon Stephen Kalonzo and Stephen Mule spoke this during the burial of Dr James Mwanzia in Matungulu Constituency in Machakos county. Dr Mwanzia was formerly the Director of Medical Services in Kenya and was currently working for the World Health Organisation as a Country Representative in Gambia and also the Director Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases at WHO Regional office for Africa. He also served as Health Systems Strengthening Medical Officer for WHO at Pretoria in South Africa.
