The Ewaso Nyiro River Camel Caravan came to a close with leaders calling for concerted efforts and strategies in dealing with human activities that have derailed conservation of the Ewaso Eco system.
Environment and Natural Resources Cabinet Secretary, Keriako Tobiko said that it is high time all people were involved in the actual conservation of the River that serves over 3.6million people.
Tobiko noted that a few influential people have illegally obstructed water upstream causing many people to suffer downstream. He ordered that they be stopped with immediate effect.
