According to Sport Express, two clubs – CSKA Moscow and Guishou Zhicheng FC – are the latest to table bids for the former Gor Mahia star, who turns out for IF Djurgarden in Sweden.
Olunga joined the Swedish club a year ago and penned a four year contract. The 22 year-old managed 12 goals for the club last season and has now attracted interest from European clubs and Asia.
Other reports indicate that Olunga in on the verge of joining a top club in Turkey and that he might have already signed the deal. There are also a couple of clubs from China, who are interested in Olunga including newcomers in top league Hengfeng Guizhou Zhicheng FC.
Djurgarden have not yet agreed with any club and have not made a decision whether to sell the player. Djurgårdens sporting director Bosse Andersson is a man of few words when it comes to Olunga. “We know there is a great interest for Michael (Olunga). Further, I would not comment anything right now.”
