Deputy President William Ruto’s brother Harrison Kiptoo lost his life on Saturday following prolonged illness.Mr Kiptoo, a younger brother to Ruto, passed on after a long battle with cancer.
Kiptoo, who was undergoing treatment at Nairobi Hospital, succumbed to the illness on Saturday night and his body was reportedly taken to the Lee Funeral Home in Eldoret.
According to family members, they discovered about the illness when it was too late adding that the deceased had at one time received treatment in India.
“Sometimes we would find medicine in his pockets and that is how we found out he was unwell. He would only talk about it when the situation was almost getting out of hand,” stated a sibling.
The father of two is now set to be buried on Wednesday.
