Deputy President William Ruto insists push for referendum call is selfish

Deputy President William Ruto has strongly continued opposing the ongoing push for fresh constitutional amendment suggesting it’s a selfish move to create positions for a few individuals and their communities.

The DP said that their main agenda as the jubilee government is to deliver to Kenyans in regards to the promises they made during elections.

Speaking in Nyeri County, he added that they are determined, focused and committed to achieving the vision 2030. The DP and his allies have in recent days intensified the campaign against the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) team expected to present a report that will form the basis of the proposed constitutional amendment.
