Deputy President, William Ruto has no problem conceding defeat in the 2022 Presidential elections. He is ready to retire and go home with President Uhuru Kenyatta should he lose the polls in 2022.

“If I will be defeated as the Jubilee presidential candidate, we will go to the opposition. We will not unsettle Kenyans with court cases and demonstrations and swearing-in,” the DP said.

During a live interview on Kameme FM, Ruto said should he lose, he will take up the role of Leader of Opposition and hold the incoming Government to account.

He also defended his nationwide tours stating that they are aimed at ensuring Jubilee Party’s transformational agenda, especially the Big Four, are realized.

Ruto noted that his crusades have been misunderstood by his rivals. The DP’s rivals have accused him of engaging in premature campaigns under the guise of the Big Four Agenda
