Your documents are fake, KNEC tell Joho over KCSE certificate

Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho has of recent faced a series of challenges on his personal and political path.

Just after his bank accounts were frozen for 10 days by Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for investigation, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has released its report on Joho’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.

The ‘Sultan’ is at risk of being blocked from vying in the forthcoming General Election after  KNEC rejected the authenticity of his Form Four results slip.

A letter that was addressed to the examinations body by the Department of Criminal Investigations (CID) confirmed that Joho Hassan Ali was not a candidate at Serani Secondary School in the 1992 KCSE examinations as indicated in the results slip.

According to KNEC, the Mombasa Governor – who sat for exam at Serani Secondary School – index number was 16032 and not 160092 as shown on the slip
