Don’t be surprised if all defectors head home in 2017, Kalonzo

The Mashujaa day celebrations could not end without politic fiasco, and Wiper leader, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka was there to sent a warning to the Wiper and Cord defectors that their days were numbered.

“Mheshimiwa Rais (Your excellency President) don’t be surprised if all of them (those who defected Cord to join Jubilee) head home during 2017 elections'” the Wiper leader said.

Kalonzo gave out his renegade members officially to the jubilee administration further urging the defectors to keep off CORD affairs.

But Ruto did not take long before he respond when he stood at the podium. The deputy Vice President, William Ruto, challenged Kalonzo and the opposition to reconsider uniting ahead of the 2017 general polls if they want to give the government a possible competition.

“We can only compete when we at the same level,” Deputy president told the Wiper leader.

Machakos governor Alfred Mutua who spoke earlier, openly hinted his support to the current regime arguing that they have steered development across the country.
