Envoy nominees Muhoro, Serem, Manoah undergo vetting by MPs

Former Salaries and Remunerations Commission Chairperson Sarah Serem has today appeared before the National Security, Defense and Foreign Relations Committee of the National assembly for the vetting.

Serem is among five nominees who include former Director of Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro and former State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu for various ambassadorial posts.

If approved, Serem will be posted to China as Kenya’s ambassador while Muhoro will head to Malaysia while Esipisu will be Kenya’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

It will not be an easy task for some of them as Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has already sent a petition to the National Assembly, asking the committee vetting Muhoro to reject his nomination for bungling various cases.
